Ready for a fight
Before I make the final sacrifice
She was Romanadvoratrelundar of the House Heartshaven, the Lord High President of Gallifrey.
Once upon a time, she had been the companion of the Doctor. Then, lost in E-Space. She returned to their world and rose among the ranks to become president. It wasn't an easy task, but Romana had plans for Gallifrey even if the rest of the High Council looked to stop her.
However, Romana soon found that dissension within her own ranks was the least of her worries.
